The Department of Economics is looking to hire a full-time pre-doctoral fellow (Senior Research Specialist). The position involves responsibilities that serve as excellent preparation for Ph.D. programs in economics including data processing and analysis, design, implementation, and management of experiments, literature reviews, communicate with funding organizations. The research fellow will work with Professor Sylvain Chassang. The position is based in Princeton, NJ though the RA may live in the metropolitan area and work remotely for part of the week. Possible research projects the candidate would contribute to include: a project on improving the external validity of experiments funded by the Sloan Foundation; a project evaluating the impact of secure whistleblowing protocols on the reporting of harassment among garment workers.
