The McCulloch Lab at the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton University is seeking a research lab manager to play a role in the development of a new lab facility and research initiatives for new organic semi-conducting materials and devices. Professor Iain McCulloch leads research focused on elucidating new structure property relationships in the design of semi-conducting materials for use in applications such as electrochemical transistors, solar fuels, and photovoltaics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation of a new lab facility and will hold a lab manager role, leading lab members in the set up and proper operations of a complex cutting-edge chemistry lab. The lab manager will report directly to the lab director, Professor McCulloch, and work closely with research group postdocs, graduate students, research visitors, and lab staff.
The term of the position is one year, with the possibility of renewal based on funding and performance.

Responsibilities include:
Applicants must have a Master’s or professional degree, 3-6 years’ academic and work experience in an academic research lab, at least two years' research experience in an organic chemistry lab or relevant scientific area, be comfortable in an interdisciplinary research environment, and demonstrate experience in the facilitation of a new lab. All candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
