The Hasson lab in the Princeton Neuroscience Institute has an opportunity available for two full-time research assistants. The Hasson lab is part of an exciting and growing trend in neuroscience that studies the neural activity that drives human behavior under natural and realistic conditions. Among other things, the candidates will work with ECoG data and machine learning algorithms on one of our flagship projects.
The positions are to begin in August. Applications should include a cover letter indicating why you would like the job and what you will bring to the lab, a CV, and a list of at least two references. For further information please contact Ariel Goldstein at email@example.com. The term of this appointment is one year, with the possibility of renewal based upon satisfactory performance and funding.
The primary duties of the research assistants will be focused on this specific project working with ECoG data from the epilepsy unit at NYU Medical Center in Manhattan. This will include collecting, pre-processing, and analyzing brain data. Ideal candidates will be energetic, self-motivating, and comfortable working independently or with a team in a flexible and fast-paced work environment.
