  • Overview

    The lab of Dr. Dettwiler at the Princeton Neuroscience Institute at Princeton University is seeking a bright and motivated part-time (50%)research assistant. Research in the lab focuses on neural correlates of mild traumatic brain injury. The position provides an excellent opportunity to further develop research skills in neuroimaging and behavioral data analysis and to learn about neural recovery from traumatic brain injury. The successful applicant will be an energetic, self-directed learner with strong computational abilities and a keen interest in the lab's research. Prior expertise with DTI is advantageous. This is a one-year position with the possibility of renewal.


    Research Specialist responsibilities include creating a data base, involvement in diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and fMRI experiments and in sophisticated behavioral and neural data analysis.



    B.A. or equivalent majoring in psychology, or neuroscience.

    Proficiency in programming (Matlab or equivalent) and familiarity with FSL.
